Work I produced during my apprenticeship at Azur Pro Cuisine
Building the Azur Pro Cuisine website during my apprenticeship
During my apprenticeship at Azur Pro Cuisine, I took part in the full build of their website, working alongside a web agency in charge of the technical development.
The agency designed the base of the interface, and on my side I organised the whole structure of the site. I rethought the site map, added new categories, restructured the pages and worked on the information hierarchy to make navigation clearer and more intuitive.
I also designed parts of the interface, adding calls to action, product visuals and all of the editorial content. My aim was to deliver a coherent, professional site suited to the needs of the company’s customers.
This project let me work concretely on a strategic digital medium, bridging information architecture, content creation and technical constraints. I learned to collaborate effectively with developers, to structure a site logically and to adapt content to a professional web medium.
Skills I gained:
- CE4.02Create communication materials
- CE4.03Produce content suited to audiences and media
- CE5.02Meet needs using appropriate methods and tools
Soft skills developed:
- Coordinating with an external agency
- Organising and structuring information
- Independence in running a digital project
- Rigour and attention to detail in web design
